Great pizza or lousy, an 18-in. pizza still gets you 5,000 calories and jeans that don't fit.
FWIW, nowhere in NC is considered the Deep South.

Also, people in Asheville might be feeling a lot more stressed as they've recently lost 40% of their police force.

There's currently 120 3 bedroom/2 bath homes for sale in the Asheville area market priced from 250K-350K, and on the other hand Santa Fe has just 29 which makes the statement half accurate.

I should have emphasized: this is one RETIREE on a modest pension plus Social Security. Not low-income by any means, but also not a couple (both working) in their highest-earning years. Big difference. And Asheville-H'ville are out, even 50+ communities (50+ but not Section 8 of course).

According to many sources, yes, so I'll give you that. But those same sources don't consider Arkansas Deep South either. I grew up in Georgia and I find Eastern NC (ex. Rocky Mount) no less "deep" than South GA, whereas AR, even Little Rock, is in some ways a lot "deeper" than urban GA. Just my opinion.

Yeah, I do get what you're saying. If you see the General Assembly and their approach to many issues, I don't see the difference either. Check out NC and their view about legalizing weed. I mean, those white dudes are old, but they aren't THAT old to have that view of pot. And many other issues as well.

Very true. I don't use weed, but here in N.Y. State it's the old white dude politicians who finally said, OK, stop the extreme approach by law enforcement (and police officers are happy with the change, 100% of them). Marijuana is pretty much legal here now. Skunky but legal. That will happen in the South eventually.

I am cracking up laughing that you are this worked up (stressed) over my lame pizza eating joke.

Also, I have no regrets and will do it again.

My pants even still fit.

But thank you for trying to solve the mystery of the exploding pants

I bet they didn't interview any of MY BUYERS! This housing market is CRAZY! Low inventory, crazy prices, due diligence fees are outrageous!
