I have not, but that's a pretty industrial area for 1200 homes, isn't it? I used to work at Static Control, even back in the days when their HQ was on Wilson Rd (before it was moved to around the corner where it is now). Unless they are completely redoing that area, I can't imagine people wanting to live there. They have the trash dump, a bunch of warehouses, and some other small businesses as well as the back-entrance to the Walmart plaza. Not exactly "pristine" IMO.

The other place, up by Colon and Cotton Road makes better sense. Fairly rural, with easy access to Sanford, Raleigh, and Greensboro, I could see that one being immensely popular.

That's what I thought as well. Reason for asking, I was talking to someone
and they pointed across Wilson Road and said what was marked off was going
to be one of the entrances for it with the other one being behind Walmart. I guess
we'll find out soon enough. Personally I'm not a fan of all the building that is going
on in Sanford and Lee County. Especially the way they clear cut for entire subdivisions.

On the other hand I said it was stupid to build homes on 7th street across from the
prison camp. Who would buy a house there? Well they proved me wrong and not only
built them, sold them all. I think the ones on Cotton Road will be across from me if
I'm not mistaken?
