Ever notice how toads come out of nowhere after it rains? I keep a pair of slip-on shoes outside by my back door. I just went outside to get something and found a toad perched on my shoe. I sure am glad he didn't crawl inside. That would have felt funny!

This spring has been in a word 'SPRING!'
The rain has proved once again we can
get rain too. Its not just for the north
east/west areas. We in the mid point
between Florida and Maine truly enjoy the
rain. A shower here a sprinkle there and
our lakes are near full an our creeks, brooks,
bogs, streams, and river are flowing again!
...and that is a good thing to see and be
if you happen to be a frog or a duck!
At this point even the fish think something
is a bit fishy with this nice periods of rain!

And a word or two if I may and I promise
to 'cut' to the short of this comment. Everyone's
lawns look GREAT! Dang they are as green as I can
remember them here the past few years! The old
weedNfeed to brown was getting old!

I notice frogs after it rains. Toads, I just notice come out when the sun is going down. But lots of frogs after it rains. And my pond sounds like a live band down there, especially after a rain.

Oh, and we call those the shoe toads.

Shoe Toads....I have never heard of them.
Off to Google those....
Is there a Penny or a Dexter in those shoe toads?
Is there a saddle or a wing tipped one?
Maybe they just 'zip' around.....

Nothing more summer like then toads a croaking
after a rain. In a pond or the driveway....

I like a toad band but there music 'jumps' around
a lot......Sorry had to do it!

Happy croaking Saturday!!!
