Ha! I was just reading an article about how 90% of bitcoin has been mined as of today. Don't worry, I am not a scecret millionaire and have never owned any crypto currency, but you make a good point. I have read some of those stories about people who threw away small fortunes. I don't know how they sleep at night! LOL

I don't really have the tools to drill into hard drives to destroy them and was wondering what the best and safest option is in Raleigh to dispose of this equipment and make sure my information is destroyed?
If you can burn a CD then you can wipe the drives yourself with DBAN, which is also what Kramden does.

The Wake County convenience center on Durant Road takes electronics including computers for recycling during the week and on Saturday. There are companies or electronics recyclers that will shred the entire hard drive but not sure that would be feasible if you only have a few drives since they operate on a much larger scale.
