Does anyone know if there's any ATM's in the Cary/Apex/Morrisville area that let you choose what type of bills it dispenses?

I know they're around, just not sure where...

Most of the Bank of America ATMs now allow you to select 10, 20, or 100 dollar bills. Not sure which ones in the Cary and Morrisville areas.

Coastal carries $5s. If you order $30, you'll get a $20 and two 5s.

You can also go buy a low value item at Walgreens or HT and ask for cash back and get a 5.

I’m looking for a Salmon P. Chase bill, but alas no luck so far at the ATM. Maybe it’s just my account balance?

Yeah it's a long drawn-out story involving allowance, a non-local bank, and the fact that we use cash for almost nothing, but refuse to pay a monthly fee for one of those kid debit card accounts

Was hoping to just be able to go to an ATM and get a bunch of 5's.

Dude, I knew there was a kid involved.

Coastal has free accounts for kids under 18. My kids have all had their own accounts for years and when your kids eventually get old enough to work most employers insist on direct deposit.

Do you know what the minimum age is? Our credit union doesn't allow anyone under 13.

Chase allows younger kids - I was hoping to not open yet another checking account, but it may be worthwhile. There is that nice new fancy branch on High House.

Edit: Looks like Coastal doesn't have age restrictions:

. Member must be a student. Student Checking account benefits are good for two years from the date the account is opened. To renew for another two years, the student must re-submit proof for an additional two years of eligibility. Proof of being a student includes a current school transcript, report card, or valid student ID. Age restrictions do not apply.
