Does anyone have any info on crime stats for north raleigh.
I am interested in the sawmill rd area Idlebrook lane,Bonnie Ridge Ct area
Thanks for your help Mike
Sawmill Road is a fine area, nothing to worry about; my parents used to live right off there and I would recommend it. It's a big enough street to get you to the major streets when you need to, but not an "artery"; I have another friend just off there who's had no problems at all.
and doors open when I run to the store with no worries. Crime is extremely low in most areas of the triangle. I live in Cary, and I work throughout the triangle, and compared to Florida, or places like Boston, there is a major difference
That area is fine. Best part of N. Raleigh is west of Falls of Neuse Road (this is a generalization, some nice areas east of Falls as well). Go to Raleigh Crime Mapping and ersys.com to get a good idea of how things are. This is a great area..Mike, N. Raleigh

I would never do that. This isn't Mayberry. This area is safe, but I wouldn't leave the house with everything unlocked and the windows/garage open.
