I haven't been there yet but I have heard good things about the food at:

Shucker's Oyster Bar Home Page

It is in kind of in a weird location off Capital Blvd, but it is in Wake Forest.

The Texas Roadhouse is by far our favorite in Wake Forest. Great family atmosphere and Awesome Margaritas. You can choose the steak you want, at the butcher counter as you walk in, or order off the menu. You need to call on a weekend or be ready for a 90+ minute wait. They also have barrels of free peanuts to eat as you wait. For our family of 5, it is very reasonable for a steakhouse.

Default Eating out in Wake Forest

Mizu is great if you like sushi.

Funny thing is the Harris Teeter in Heritage has pretty good sushi too. I just had some as a snack this evening with the little woman.

Oh, and by the way, Moes by the movie theater has fantastic burritos. Best I’ve had since leaving California.

Have tried many places in Wake Forest and being me and food get along pretty well, such as if its in front of me I eat it. I like all the restaurants in WF!
