Anybody know where I could rent furniture pads / moving blankets for a long distance move (i.e., return the pads/blankets outside of Raleigh)?

U-Haul's webpage says they do but the ones I've called do not. So if you've used a U-Haul for this could you let me know the specific location?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Harbor Freight sells them cheap. That would work for me if I needed 10 or less.

Did you try calling the U-Haul national 800 line? they may be able to help.

Are you renting the truck FROM U-Haul?

I'd go the Harbor Freight route so that you "know you have them" for the move. U-Haul can be a bit dicey on their inventory sometimes. Then whenever you get to your destination, just sell them on Craigslist or whatever.

I had to store furniture for a couple of months so I bought my furniture pads from amazon, sold them on FB marketplace when I moved to my new place. Really considered keeping them. But different have storage space

The uhaul stores like the one on 15-501 in durham have them. You may need to rent a truck from them to rent them though, they were an add on when we rented a truck
