Broadlands is not in East Raleigh. Its across Capital Blvd., down Trawick Road. Older homes and townhouses, with a pool in the neighborhood. Cute homes. Vicki

I viewed a home in Waterford Landing this past summer. I really like the house, but my wife and I got a vibe from the neighborhood that we didn't like. We drove around the neighborhood on three seperate times at different times of the day after we had viewed the house and w just never saw a soul outside. There is a small community pool there and I never once saw a single person using it even though each time we drove by it was a beautiful day. I also got the sens that the neighborhood was a little out of the way and not in the "out in the country" sense but more in the "oh there is some vacant land behind this strip mall with a stormwater pond so lets build a subdivision around it and call it Waterford Landing"

There has just always been something about the neighborhoods located off of 64 business (New Bern Avenue) that I never liked. We also checked out a few home in Hedingham Subdivision, but I just did not like the drive to downtown from Hedingham. That part of New Bern Avenue is a bit depressing and I don't see it changinf anytime soon.
