Definitely a bad choice. A knife would have been much better. Just as quick and much quieter.

Discreet and silent, nobody will know until much later. By the time cops figured it out, perp would be on his way back to China.

You don't need a gun to kill someone.

Years ago, a Chinese graduate student at Purdue University murdered her husband and went back to China.
In China, she was still sentenced to death with a reprieve (and it was later converted to some prison time).

So if he went back to China, mostly likely he will get a death penalty there (with a reprieve if he is lucky).

I'll hold out judgment until more information comes out but at the moment its a nothingburger.

Yeah, but guns aren't the problem huh?

Police have been told to be on the lookout for a suspect involved in "an incident" at Alpine Bagel Cafe at the student union. Some texts coming in from students say someone was shot there. Of course, have to wait to see if it's true.

I mean really it's just another day.

Looks like those "gun free zones" don't keep the public safe after all...

Other than potentially stiffer punishment........needs to be on a national level.
