Mexican style frozen treats. There is a great article in the N & O you should be able to find if you type in the name. I love that the owner uses local ingredients to create her frozen treats. I love the pomegranate and lime....or raspberry hibiscus....mexican chocolate!!!! My Boston terrier yummed up the very berry. I'll have to find that picture. Make sure you bring cash with you. The prices are about $2 to $2.50 depending on what size you get. I always get large.

We lived a leisurely 10 minute walk from the beach in LA so we were lucky to have the ocean breeze. We never used the A/C there. I grew up in Chicago, but I forgot how to deal with high temps and humidity. We just turned the A/C on for the first time a couple days ago. I'm scared to see that bill...
Our apartment is all carpeted except for the linoleum in the kitchen, entry way and bathrooms. Our cat, Pepito, either hides under the bed for the "shade" or is spread eagle (face down or up, he doesn't seem to have a preference) on the linoleum. I feel like he looks at me wondering why we came here.
This might sound silly, but does anyone have a suggestion on cooling down the cat? He has several water cups. He doesn't like the ceiling fans either...which is probably why he hides under the bed! I know he'll get used to it over time (just like us), but is there anything I can do for him? He won't join us for showers or swimming...
2. Off a boat is the preferred method for #1 above.
