I don't really like Indian Buffets at all. What I'm looking for is a great Indian restaurant with a wonderful sit-down, table-service menu! I have had a lot of wonderful Indian food in the past and know what I like. With the large Indian population here, I'd expect there must be some fantastic choices? Please tell me!!!!!

In CARY --- Indian Restaurants in Cary
I forgot to mention I'm in CARY. That's the area I'm looking for restaurants.

Saffron (technically in Morrisville, but a skip from NW Cary) has great sit-down dinner service.

Don't know any in Cary but Azitra in Briar Creek is ok. When I say OK I mean by my experience of US Indian Restaurant's and I'm a snob as I used to live in London. Azitra is the best local place I've found so far.

I second Azitra. For no frills Indian I really like Bombay Grille at 55/54 in S Durham.

Has anyone tried Spice & Curry in Durham? I'm wondering how it is!

I"m not a big fan of Azitra. I find their service is great and they will make the food as spicy as I ask for. But on several occasions I've found my food to come out warm/almost cool. I also think they are rather expensive in comparison to other places.

Azitra is expensive for sure...I think the flavor is good (not GREAT) but the Naan and the Mango Lassi's are excellent. Better Naan than Saffron to me.
