I am looking to start a 9 hole evening golf league in the Raleigh area. None of the local courses have open leagues to play in, so I am trying to get at least 12 people that would like to play once per week. If you are interested, please let me know and I will get back to you with more details.

I would play but I'm afraid you would get tired of me winning all the time.

Default Moving down next weekend

I am relocating with my family next weekend and I've been looking for some places to start socializing.

I play in a weekly league here in Cincinnati, and I'd love to get into one after we move. Do you have any specifics yet, or just getting started?

I searched for a while and found this problem. I'd be interested to see what you come up with. Weekend or Weekday?

Default golf League

Here is what I am thinking:
9 holes, once per week on Wednesday, at 5:30pm. I figure most people will be coming by themselves, but you are welcome to bring a friend. However, I would like a group of people that are out there to have a good time and meet some people that enjoy golf as well. The idea is for people to come out on a consistent basis and we will all get to know each other. I would plan on switching up the groups every week. Also, if there is interest we can throw in a small amount of money and have closest to the pin contests on the par 3's. I am open to suggestions. And there would be no obligation to bet!
Here are the courses I am considering:
Lochmere GC: $27
Wildwood GC: $$30
RGA GC: $23
Lake Shore: $21
These all included carts.
I plan on starting July 16th which is 2 weeks from today. I am leaning towards RGA or Lochmere given there central location for the Triangle. Let me know what you think, otherwise I will give final details next week.
