I live in morrisville and would like to find a good mexican restaurant to try that isnt too far away. Feel free to suggest any in the area though, as I work in raleigh and my wife works in durham. We also do some of our business in cary.

Any good mexican food that isnt too expensive? Entree's between $9-14 maybe?

El Dorado at Preston Corners has good food in the price range you are looking for. My family has been going there for 7 or 8 years now, it is always our go to Mexican restaurant in the area.

There's a new Mexican restaurant in Durham, on Page Rd. in RTP, called Mez. Kinda upscale, but it has a taco bar from 4-6 on M-F where tacos are $2-$3.

There's one on 64 in Apex, across from Kroger's and Eva Perry Library. Can't remember the name, but it's always packed, cheap, and very good.

There is another on Morrisville-Carpenter that is pretty darn good too. It is right near Town Hall drive in a little strip mall.

We've beat this topic to death. Please use the search function to find many threads on the adequate Mexican restaurant offerings in this area.

Remember that Southern Californians have their own version of Mexican, Arizona has its version, New Mexico has its version, Texas has Tex-Mex. . . . . . all are slightly different than "authentic" Mexican. I don't even want to imagine what native North Carolinans call Mexican food

If you are from the southwest US, you may have difficulty finding something that pleases you. If you are from the northeast, you may have an easy time.
