I am looking for a good realtor - someone who is familiar with S. Granville / Wake Forest area. And I don't mean someone who once sold a home there - I'd like someone who actually lives there who can answer simple questions like "...tell me where the closest groceries are". "Tell me where X community is" (without running to your computer to try and find it).
It is very surprising / annoying for the 'local' agents to not know these answers. I hear often agents say "...I can sell you a home anywhere" - true, but when you live in Apex or Cary or whereever you can't possibly know intimate details of other areas. When I know more about an area (from my internet search) than the realtor does, I feel they aren't adding much to my search.
I don't want to sound like a pain, but I've encountered too many agents who were...let's just say less than helpful. Please reply or message me with info / suggestions. We're ready to buy NOW...
