We just moved here. My daughter is 6 months pregnant and we need to find a OB fast. She prefers a female. Any recommendations?

Also what are the best hospitals in this area?

THANKS!!!

I recommend this site:

Triangle Birth Network

I would take a look at UNC and these practices:

Maternal and Child Health Program — Department of Family Medicine - UNC School of Medicine (broken link)

UNC Midwifery Practice at Chapel Hill

First of all, it usually depends on your OB-GYN as to which hospital you'll deliver - Rex or Wake Med.

I highly recommend the group of Kamm, MacKenzie, Smith, Harden and Bass. They're on Computer Drive off Six Forks right by the beltline near North Hills. All of them are wonderful and one of them is a woman. They've seen me through two pregnancies and both my daughters were born at Wake Med.

Good luck!

Here is another vote for Kamm, McKenzie, Harden, Smith and Bass. They were outstanding in helping me through two very hard pregancies.
They deliver out of Big Wake on New Bern Ave which has the best new born care Raleigh has to offer.
