The only real problem that I've had with mud daubers is that they like to build nests in the carburetors on my motorcycle. Those carbs are a pain to rebuild.

I just hit the nest with wasp killer at dusk and knock em down the next day. If they are dead they can't rebuild

We keep an old boom box in the garage to listen to when we are working out there. I just notices several wasps going in and out of it today..Great !
I may try playing Barry Manilow non stop to run them off...

Maybe the wasps are Fanilows and you'd attract more. Try Neil Diamond or Kenny Rogers to scare them off.
