Help... my 2-1/2yo is a My Little Pony fanatic! Anyone know of any local toy stores that carry these ponies? The big box stores carry only a limited selection, but she wants one that is a unicorn. I can find them online, but would prefer to buy locally, if possible. Thanks for any pointers!

Target sells most of them. I know I got a unicorn from Target, in fact, I got all of my little pony stuff from Target. My daughter went through a huge phase, now my son plays with them!

Hahaha... was Thomas the Tank Engine around in the 80s? That is her other favorite, besides Dora of course!

I saw some at KMart the other day. Not sure which ones they have but it might be worth calling them. It was the KMart on Capital Blvd in Raleigh.

The Ponies of today are smaller than the one's in the 80s and there seem to be way more selection. And I don't remember the ones in the 80s having pony boats and pony princess crowns like they do today. Some of those darned ponies have more accessories and jewelry than I do.

We looked recently in Target and TRU for MLP's and they had almost none. I know both of these stores used to be packed with them! I don't know if they are being phased out in these stores, or perhaps a new line is going to be introduced in the fall, but when we looked the other day, there were maybe 5 MLP's in both stores combined!
Let me know if you find them, my daughter loves them!
