A good place to park and see the display without attending the stadium.

Last year we parked in one of the Seminary parking lots (off 98 before the traffic circle) and walked over to the hillside across the street from the high school (walked down Wingate Street to Stadium). I think the exact area we sat is now a construction site for a new building, but we're planning to do the same thing this year. We brought 2 camping chairs with us and arrived about 45 minutes before the start of the show (we were a little early, but we weren't sure what we would encounter). We could see the fireworks quite well and traffic wasn't too bad getting out.

Good question! And honestly I'm not 100% sure the exact start time other than "dusk" - they don't advertise a time (that I can find). I think it was around 9pm last year.
