I could use a suggestion or two for a good place to hang out solo and relax, like read a book & drink a beer after work around Glenwood South. I was thinking maybe Hibernian or Helios, but I'd like to get some recommendations as well.
Thanks

Flying Saucer would be my choice. About 5 blocks south and 2 blocks east of Hibernian. Corner of Harrington and Morgan.

All three of those are the ones that popped in my head. The other would be the Borrough, very much a corner bar place with decent outside seating...and a good buzz/feel. Go on a Monday night for the eating contest and you would probably meet all the regulars. Like FS it is a few blocks from Glenwood south.

On Hargett Street, there is Times Bar.
