Me and my husband will be moving to Raleigh in September. He will be working at the Centennial Campus of NCSU. As we will be flying down at the last minute, I would prefer to have a place reserved before I get there.

I would prefer to have the following features
- Less than 3 miles from NCSU Centennial
- On wolfline preferably, or a good bus route
- Central air preferred (or a GOOD air conditioning setup)
- Dishwasher
- Washer and dryer in suite OR hookups.
- good management and emergency maintenance
- not in a "bad" area (no idea where that would be)
- at least 750 sq. feet, but would prefer 800+
- Less than $800 per month unless water and heat are included.

So far the only apartments I have found that fit the bill are possibly
The apartments of westgrove, and the Summit at avent ferry.

I do not care about pools or other recreational amenities.

I have found others that are around 4+ miles away, but I'm interested in knowing if there are additional apartments that meet our needs closer.

Thanks for any insight.

I've seen some new ones just constructed towards the end of Blue Ridge Rd near Western Blvd (not far from Centennial). I don't think anyone is in them, but they do look done. I don't go by there every day, but I think they have "Blue Ridge" in the name.

They look very nice, and are right across the street from the $1.50 movie theatre. Can anyone else help me with the name/contact info?

We lived in the Apts of Westgrove from 1989 to 1984. Very small and poorly built. The ratings on Apartment Ratings - Apartments for Rent with Ratings and Reviews from Actual Renters aren't good.

I'd pass on that one.

Ok, I am going to give the Summit a call and see if we can get an apartment there.

The only other close place I found (with good ratings) was the Boylan apartments. But I can't find any info on the web (floor plans, amenities, etc). If anyone lives there it would be helpful if they could describe it.

The next closest place I found to those two was the Marquis at crossroads which seemed to have decent reviews.

I looked for an apartment on Blue ridge where you mentioned but I could not find one, so perhaps it isn't open for renting yet?

They are actually called "Blue Ridge Apartments", managed by Clark Properties. They have signs and flags all over saying "Now Leasing".
