Fall. Probably from mid October to mid November. For me, I'm usually so tired of the August/Sept heat that fall seems the most anticipated and enjoyable. It's something I look forward to every year. Sweater weather, pumpkin patches and the state fair. There's just something so "NC" about it. I can actually smell it coming sometimes.

I'm going to be the weird one & say Spring is my favorite. There are so many flowering trees and bushes here & the whole landscape is beautifully vibrant in March and April. Autumn is a very close second, though.

Don't forget the multi-colored interstate flowers!

Oh yes! The wild wisteria vines, too. I know they're invasive here, but they certainly make a gorgeous sight along the highways.

I love fall and early spring here. Summers are way too humid and winters aren't cold enough for me (and I miss the snow... weird, huh?). That's my story and I'm sticking to it....

I'm with you, MrsSteel... Love the newness of spring and the flowering trees, shrubbery, tulips, daffodils, etc. BUT I also love the cooler days of fall, the crisp air, etc.

One nice thing (among many!) about being in NC is something is flowering all spring and summer. I love seeing all the Crape Myrtles in bloom right now!

Spring is the best season here, in my opinion. Mid March-early May is the best. Everyone's garden is blooming, the cherry blossoms and redbuds are out along the highways, and its the perfect temperature.

Fall is pretty lame, and doesn't get that nice crisp feel until November. No pretty colors like in New England.
Winter is nice because there's no snow, but sometimes I wish we'd get one month of it, just for a change.

Summer is my least favorite season. Hate it. Hence, user name.
