I don't have a dental insurance and need some basic services performed.

I want to pay cash and wanted to shop around. Do you know any dental businesses that run specials for new patients now? I am looking for something like exam+cleaning package for a smaller fee.

Thanks!

You can always go to the Wake Tech to get your teeth cleaned, looks like it's only $20 (to cover expenses). The people that I know who have been there, have been pleased.

I realize that it's not Cary/Apex area, but you might want to check out the dentist school at UNC if you need something major done. I can't find the prices on there, but I don't imagine that it would be too expensive.

Default Specials in Apex

If you are looking for specials in Apex, you can check out Apex Specials » Apex, North Carolina is where the best people in the world live Its a community blog and if you know of any specials in Apex you can post there too.
As for dentalworks, I would avoid them, too many hidden fees and they are not upfront. My opinion of course.

You could always buy a dremel high speed grinder, a bottle of Whiskey and do it yourself. Heck, I have all the tools here at my home. I'll do it for an even $25 as long as you sign a fourty page liability waiver.
