One of the easiest (or fastest) ways to get used to a higher temperature is to simply force yourself to go without AC for a couple of days and nights when it's in the mid-upper 80s here and upper 60s at night. Open your windows and let the outside air and all the humidity come in. Do the same in your car. Then, the AC set at 80 will feel quite nice.
We're in trouble when we get to NC. In Michigan we have our AC at 73! I wonder if 73 would feel different in NC than it does in MI? Maybe 78 will feel cool in NC after a year or two of living there?
Being from NY...I like it cooler..LOL! I had two stipulations for my southern husband if he wanted me to move to NC
1. A pool
2. Don't bug me about the AC cuz I'm not gonna be sweaty. I could probably get away with 73-74 at the most...after that I start melting!
So you joined to post on a thread that is 2.5 years old?
Ya, just what I was thinking. Gotta look at the date that your Goggle search came up with.
<sigh>
