Hi,

I moved here from the Detroit area about 6 months ago and so far I am loving it here, minus the summer death heat. Last week I had the misfortune of wearing a UofM hat into a local OSU backers bar during a Brown's game (I actually knew what I was getting into by going with some relocated Clevelanders). I started wondering if anyone knew of a Michigan (Lions, Tigers, Wings Pistons, UofM, MSU) sports backer bar? So far I have seem to have found many New York, Jersey, NE bars around but not so many from the Rustbelt. I had to watch the Red Wings win the Cup solo in my apartment this spring, and I would love to share in the fun this fall with a group of people somewhere. Thanks in advance, this forum is great to lurk in and I've found some really cool things in the area thanks to you guys!

There may be others, but I know the UM alumni association will be watching football this fall at Rudinos in Cary (High House Road and Davis Drive). Go Blue!

MSU Alumni club meets at the Rudino's in N. Raleigh (near Stickland & Six Forks). The guys that started Rudino's in the area are from Michigan (Battle Creek area I believe). There's nothing better than catching some rays on the patio at Rudino's while watching a MSU football game (even better when you see the fans freezing their butt off!).
