Hi, I will be moving to Raleigh with my husband and two boys, ages 3 and 5, Labor Day weekend. I am looking for a full time day care for my 3 year old. We will be living in Durant Trace (NE, sort of near Triangle Town Center Mall) - does anyone have a recommendation for a daycare they love in that area? The shorter the drive the better, but I am willing to drive for a good one with loving, involved staff. Thanks in advance!

My neighbor (in Durant Trace) goes to a daycare on Durant Rd that she's been happy with. I don't have children and don't know the name of it but it's definitely close.

Welcome to the neighborhood! Where are you moving from?

My daughter went to Primrose for several years and we were very pleased. It is located on Falls of the Neuse just afer I-540 if you are coming from Durant or Litchford.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm originally from Florida but we've been living in Naperville, Illinois (a Chicago suburb) for the past year while my husband completed an internship. We LOVE Chicagoland but of course hated the winter. We've been talking about moving to NC for a long time now, and in two weeks we're finally doing it. It will bring us closer to family (North GA and VA Beach) and we were both pretty tired of FL. We are renting a home in Durant Trace while we get to know the area and look for a home to buy. We can't wait to move in!

To rbcp - thanks for the recommendation about Primrose, and I will definitely check into it. Personal recommendations are so valuable.
