Just wondering if anyone knows how to get information regarding employee's salaries at UNC. It is my understanding that there is an office that has all the salaries and you can research etc. Anyone know anything? Thanks

That's kind of creepy. I would honestly hesitate to work there knowing that this information was public to anyone searching on my name. Maybe searching on title or position, but by individual's names? Do we really need to know?

How often is it updated?
Shows Mary Easley at $90,300.
Her new gig garnered her a little more green, didn't it?

Charlotte newspaper has everyone in state government, not just UNC. Have to google it though, and it's an old estimate (possibly 2 anemic 1% raises ago).

Federal & state employee salaries are public record if public monies are used to pay them. If their salary is paid from a another source such as a private foundation, no public disclosure is required.

It seems to only list full-time, permanent employees.

So glad I left UNC--of course my info is still there. My boss, who has worked there for 30 years was making less than 10k more than I was...
