I'm looking to do a minor amount of landscaping this fall, including putting in a fairly short (stone) retaining wall, clearning out some grass for new beds, etc. Can anyone recommend a company that they've had success with and is fairly responsive?

Thanks!

My neighbor recommended Hicks Landscape contractors to me. Haven't used them though.

We used Hicks in the past and were very pleased. For us they did yard grading, a retaining wall, sod installation and stump grinding.

Hunts Landscaping in North Raleigh are an excellent company. They even hire Irish folk, who are the hardest workers on the planet! they do have a website, of which im not sure. It has contact details.

Gress Inc. - Gress Inc. - Michael Gress is the owner and he is great. They do landscaping, stonework, lighting, etc. They are awesome to work with and I highly recommend them.

We used Huntscapes for our irrigation. They put in a very good system at a very reasonable price. They did some landscaping for a couple of homes in our neighborhood and did a really good job.
