I wouldn't want to buy there at the moment with the uncertainty of St. Lawrence. Too many unfinished inventory homes, lots of unsold lots, and the smaller homes are about 1/8 sold. My concerns would be that the HOA fees would skyrocket to keep the clubhouse and pool, or that the ammenities would have to close. I would also be concerned about crime in the unfinished homes. I wonder what the HOA has written in it about taking control as a neighborhood, and what happens if St Lawrence can't get it together?

That neighborhood, like it's sister down the street (Northampton), have not finished as quickly as anyone expected. There's an entire phase at NH that's not complete- with the exception of the "hurricanes" home.

Just an update.. Bowling Green is alive and well.
- St. Lawrence Homes is still going through reorganization. They are starting to show homes again and there are several available (both new and existing).
- Dress Homes is building as fast as they can. Three recently completed Drees homes will close in mid-August in the Bowling Green Estates section.
- A new builder is scheduled to start building in the BroadStreet section soon.

Our community pool actually opened early this year and has been going strong. We have an HOA but do not have enough home owners to take control as of yet. Perhaps within another year if the pace of construction continues.
