Anyone know what happened to the London Fish & Chips restaurant in Cary? Seems like every few months they shut down. This time it looks like it's permanent though. Went last Saturday and there's a sheriff's notice on the door and everything moved out.

We liked it quite a bit and will miss the authentic English F&C.

Recently in one of our older threads about this restaurant, a member of the forum said that the owners of the restaurant are divorcing.

I've heard that the new restaurant/bar in Brier Creek called Trali does a good fish & chips. Trali Irish Restaurant & Pub ~ Brierdale Shopping Center ~ Raleigh, NC

I can speak firsthand that Trali's fish & chips are really good. They have some interesting things on the menu too - definitely try the Portabella sandwich - it's my favorite.

North Seafood Bistro does a good job at this menu item as well, although not as "authentically". I'll have to try Trali's. I've never been but I go to BC to eat all the time.
