Has anyone had a bad or questionable experience with Terramor Homes who are building in Garner?

I just want to see if I was the only one having issues dealing with them.

What was your problem? I am a realtor and I have some clients who are interested in writing an offer @ The Villages of Cleveland Springs. Any insight would be helpful.

Default They did me wrong

I have just purchased a home that terramore homes was selling. It was agreed that they would do all repairs on the inspection before house was bought. Everything they did seemed to be 1/2 done and un craftman like instead of replacing the handle on my fireplace they made one out of angle iron to avoid spending money and now I have to replace that myself cause it dont work. They also broke my back door inbetween the walkthrough and closing and now will not fix it since the closing is done. They were cheap with their work and did not even try to work with me on what they should have fixed right the first time around. I would not recomend buying from these people the work is poor craftmanship and not professional. Its to late for me but you can avoid headache by looking some where else.

This makes me happy I rent.

My super fixes things right the first time and all I give him (optional) is a Christmas gratuity.

Yay for you...

'Course you also don't have to worry about back doors or fireplaces anyway because...as you said...you rent.

Personally I'll take the fireplace, backdoor (which leads to MY backyard) and I don't even have to think about a Christmas gratuity for my super( don't have one)

We have a back door leading to a large patio.

A short walk from the door are the gym, pool, and business center all included in the rent. Just this week, management added a 40" HDTV and a Time-Warner HD box to the gym to make workouts more fun.

Just signed lease #5 with zero rent increase.

Homeownership - Bah Humbug!

Thumbs up Terramor Homes

At one point, Terramor Homes was offering the opportunity to purchasers of our NEW homes, the ability to sell their existing home to us. "We'll Buy your home if you Buy Ours". It worked wonderfully and allowed several families to move into our community while we bought their home, made minor repairs as per a third party inspection report and then re-sold the homes in a matter of 30-90 days.
This particular post refers to a resale home, several years old which we bought and sold. It was not a Terramor built home, or even a new home for that matter- nor was it represented as such. We're sorry that the buyer had different expectations, but it was and still is a great property for a great price, with expected normal age.
We are fortunate to have very happy and satisfied homeowners and we credit our great team of people for that result.
