lol I just realized that I contradicted myself on here. I originally said that 140k would buy you a pretty decent house and then said that 130k wouldnt' get you anything. My second assessment was a little better. A few years ago 140l would get you a 3-4 bdrm brand new home in a nice neighborhood with a pool (neighborhood pool). But that's really not the case anymore. At least not in Wake County. If you went out to Chatham or Johnston county you could find that... but you'd also find the schools are pretty bad compared to those in Wake County.

and are they in Wake County or Johnston maybe? I'll bold the ones I know offhand, that are NOT.

I looked on googleearth and none of them are in wake or johnston. Some of them pulled up no results such as Big Lick, Horneytown, Lizard Lick ( i believe this one is close if not in one of these counties) and Whynot.

Lizard Lick is in Wake County due east along hwy 64 and just north of Wendell which is near the Wake/Johnston County border.

One of my favorites that was not on the original list:

Turkey (Sampson County)

The Bat Cave, NC Post Office used to get a ton of mail addressed to "Batman & Robin" or the "Caped Crusaders" during the 1960's as a result of the classic TV show, Batman.

Hey Wake County has a Lizard Lick. It might not be Hell, MI but hey it is a community.

Default Climax & Horneytown

I'm kind of partial towards Climax and Horneytown.
