Just had some heavy rain drops, to many to count in fact
drop down on us. Been relatively light since yesterday
unless of coarse you are an ant and get hit with one
of those light drops. All drop related weightings aside,
it is great to see the rain!
Happy rainy Wednesday!
P.S. The best way to avoid rain is always carry an
umbrella!
As much as I dislike being out in this kind of weather, either driving or running errands, I have been wanting a good soaking rainfall for a while now. Oh, I am SO loving this!
I ran 11 miles in the rain yesterday and had a blast splashing through the puddles and was greeted on my pathway at Shelly Lake by a Copperhead snake. It was a light rain when I left but changed quickly and little did I know there were tornado warnings? I'm such a tourist.

WOW Saluki I heard people walking a mile for a Camel but 11 miles for a Copperhead.....whewww! That has to be a record! Nothing like a good mud puddle to trample through at any age, good for you!!!!
One suggestion, next time your jogging and there is a Tornado warning, please bring a parachute as it will lighten the fall!!!
Raleigh set a new record for rainfall on Aug. 27, with 3.43 inches falling on Wednesday to top the 13-year-old mark.
Heavy rain has fallen west of Interstate 95 over the last 48 hours: more than 5 inches in Chapel Hill, nearly 4.5 inches in Burlington, and more than 3 inches in Raleigh, Fayetteville and Oxford.
