I just checked the thermometer on the outside of my back door and it read 23 degrees! We sure are getting a dose of cooler weather here in Raleigh tonight! I don't think it has ever been this cold since I moved her 18 months ago!

I talked to my daughter in Rockford MI and the wind chill was -22 this afternoon! Still I know what you are saying, I have only been outside twice today, and not for very long either time. Can't wait for warmer weather!

Thats not bad. Itll be even colder than that(probably) when I relocate from south FL to the northeast. I have friends that live in states like MN where its -30 outside! Yes you read it right, minus thirty!

I was in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan one winter where it got to -48 and that was not the wind chill factor! There is no way to describe how that feels. We spent the day trying to get any car started. You learn real quick how to remove your car battery to warm it up to have any power. Once you get your car started, your car complains to you the whole way. It literally goans to you.

Lets talk about Global warming... Hey it is ony 6 weeks to SPRING!!!

LOL!!! Trying to get the car started. It was Sunday and we had to drive home, else we wouldnt be there for work the next day. If we didnt need to leave, the hot buttered rums would have been a-flowin' and a few games of cribbage would have been played.

um....it was 15 this morning. It usually gets into the teens several times every winter here in NC, last year was the only winter that i've been here (since 1994) where the temperature never went below 20. Every once in a while it will get into the single digits and negatives as well......windchills get into those numbers relatively often
