I live in the Crabtree area, and I'm looking for a sports bar in the surrounding area that has enough good TV's (read: large) to watch all of the available games this Sunday. Got to keep up with my fantasy players, you know. I've been to the Carolina Ale House, but if you go by yourself, you have to sit at the bar, so you are stuck watching the small bar TV's.

My requirements for a "good" sports bar:

1. All of the games must be viewable when sitting at the bar. Don't want to be turning around to watch every other play.
2. Must be a decent crowd. I'd prefer not to be the only one in the place!
3. I don't want to pay $5 for a Coors Light. I think $3 is reasonable for a bottle.

I've seen bars like this in other cities, so I know they exist. Thanks for your help, and hopefully I'll see you out there on Sunday!

Try Wild Wing at Brier Creek. Very open, lots of TVs.

Thank you! That is a good start. Anyone else have other ideas even closer to Crabtree?

Try Playmaker's on Hillsborough Street. Lots of TVs (although from the bar you do need to turn to see some of the rear screens). There's also an outside TV. We were there on Sunday there was a good turn out for the games.

Rudinos in Apex off 55 is decent. They do get a little bit of a wild younger crowd on Sundays, but it's not too bad.

Thank you again. I've read on other forums (not City-Data) that Playmakers really went downhill servicewise when the newer owners took over. True or not?
