It has a sign out front that says it's closed temporarily for renovation, but I wonder if it's really closed for good. The last few times we were in there they had a terrible odor in there that seemed to be a sewer problem.

Anyone know if they'll be back? If not, I hope they will put in a nice pub or something similar.

I saw that too. Judging by some things that I've heard from customers it sound permanent.

I too hope a nice pub or something similar goes in. WF is definitely in need of some more good, local (non-franchise) restaurants.

Thanks, BBN. A non-franchise sounds great.

I wonder if they going down Cinelli's and Gianni and Giatano's path, they are all in the same family. Too bad, the food was pretty good.

I'd only been there a few times and had only tried their pizza. It was pretty good, but I think the prices in general seemed a little high.

The food was hit or miss. I had some really good meals and some bummers.

The thing that annoyed me the most was take-out. Their portions were MUCH smaller than dine-in and/or something was missing. I got the impression that they were trying to rob the take-out crowd, figuring most would be too lazy to come back and complain. I gave them a chance; but after the third time I was done.

When I was in Rocco's maybe 10-14 days ago, they told me they are going under new management, new menu and a new look. I think a new name too. They are making the menu smaller and more focused. I really only eat Pizza there and Love the pizza. It didn't sound like it would be under construction for long. As a matter of fact, it was dusty, etc. and they were already moving seats and tearing up walls when I was in there.

It would be wise for them to take advantage of the highschool traffic. Many kids walk off and go to Harristeeter for food.

I was there earlier today and there was a "for lease" sign on the front door. I am guessing they aren't coming back anytime soon.
