Soon to be Atty relocating from NY (Raleigh: law school, law)

I figured I would follow suit from the "soon to be CPA" post. I am relocating from NY and taking the NC bar exam in July. I have been blinding applying to every law firm I can find in the Raleigh area however, many of them have already hired.

Does anyone have any tips about locating legal jobs in Raleigh?

I would bet state government has a few legal positions.

Although I don't have any suggestions, I do know (from friends of mine who have gone to law school at carolina and duke) that because there are three excellent law schools within 10 miles of each other in the triangle (central, unc, duke) and the students tend to work over the summer in different firms in the triangle and then continue to work for them after passing the bar.

My friends worked for womble carlyle in raleigh.
