Woodworking in Raleigh area (house, cabinet, live in)

My husband and I are thinking of moving to Raleigh, we currently live in Northern California although he's from New Jersey and we lived there for years before. He is a woodworker and is looking for work in the industry, or teaching or working with someone with a small business. Does anyone know anything about this field and job opps for it?

I would think he would have good opportunity, particularly if he is a skilled craftsman.
If he can do cabinetry, fine trim, and other appointments, he should do all right.
Try contacting a woodworking supply house or two.
I know there is one off Capitol Boulevard outside the I-440 beltline that I think is pretty serious about it. Might be worth asking them about the local opportunities.

I need a cabinet retrofitted for a range hood duct, and a box installed to cover the duct between the cabinet and the ceiling.
I need a custom wastebasket base cabinet.
I need a built-in closet for home entertainment gear.
And I need a set of decorative shelves on some ledges in the family room.
All to be made of oak.
When's he going to get here?
