Does anyone know what the continuous loud banging & rumbling was outside last night, that was audible in Cary around 10:00? It sounded like either a thunderstorm, which it was not or fireworks, which I could not see. It was LOUD though. Was it something at the Fair, that was capable of carrying all the way over to Cary?

Was it fireworks? I can't believe the sound would travel that far.

It was the fireworks from the fair. You get to hear them every night now for the next 10 days!

Cool, thanks. I will have to look to the east to see if I can see them.

We used to live off Western Blvd and could see the aerial fireworks from our parking lot.
