Johnston County has had an early voting location in Smithfield since the 16th, but yesterday they opened the location in Clayton at the The Church at Clayton Crossings.

I stopped by this afternoon, thinking I'd just peek at how long the line was, but saw no line at all. I went in and although there were some people in line, I got through the whole process in about 15 minutes.

Yay! I've done my duty as a citizen. Although I usually look forward to the excitement of standing in line on voting day (not being sarcastic, I really do enjoy the camaraderie and excitement of it), I didn't want to ask for time off from my new job and worried that something might prevent me voting on that day.

I feel great and know I've done my part helping our country make some very important decisions!

I went at 5:30 p.m. and was really surprised at how short the line was. I encourage my fellow Johnstontonians to go vote early!

Jenny_B, who won't tell whom she voted for no matter how much you squeeze!

JoCo also has an early voting station at the Cleveland Campus of JCC. We were in and out today in under ten minutes!
