Anyone use them and if so what do you think about them? Well worth the change??? I have TW right now but really considering lowering my bills a lot if I can. This is one way I have thought of doing it.

(oh and I got the lower speed from TWC on internet... 768K or something and its no different from the higher priced speed.. this is 24.95 a month and I am satisfied w/it. )

I have vonage for my business line. No complaints, really other than a few outages here and there or once in a while an incoming call will go right to VM. I like that I can setup features and listen to may messages from anywhere via the web.

I have had the same issues with digital phone from TW. I have seen my message light blinking and thought.. ummm ok I didin't hear the phone ring. Sure enough it went to vm.. oh well! But after all the taxes and fees and the $3.95 voicemail charge. .on top of the rate of 39.99 ..... its like $57 for my phone right now. Thats steep!

Thanks for the info.. i think we will make the move.

I have had Vonage for the past two years in my home and I love it. It costs me a total of $30.25 a month (that includes all the fees and taxes) and for that I get unlimited calling, caller ID, Voicemail, 3-way calling, and call forwarding. I have never had any problmes with it and highly recommend it!

I also use Vonage for my business. It does not include Broadband. I also have been pleased with the service.

Well as long as you can get a promotion with TWC there are some good deals.. but the phone is not gonna be as low as Vonage.. not a chance.

Right now .. without a promo cuz I am expired and TWC makes you wait at least 1 billing cycle to get a new promo.. but one you have no clue what it will be.. could save ya $40 couuld save ya beans! Thats the thing.. you have to wait and see and in the meantime pay a higher bill.

So my non promo cable breakdown is $87.40 with HBO and DVR service.
Directv for the same thing ... $67.98 for 12 months.. not sure what happens after 12 months though. I know DTV will FIGHT for their customers to stay though.. I remember that when I had them in the past.

The internet with TWC is good.. but with the bundle is 39.99 or something and off promo is $44. The RoadrunnerLite (768K speed) is $24.99 and if you ask me.. works fine. (Vonage gave me a 94% on the speed test)

So anyhoo.. .TWC is great until you expire and have to go thru the hassle of calling back to get a new promo. And when I said "I am gonna cancel" they said "Ok .. you knew the deal.. sorry" What is that about? Sorry but its back customer service if ya ask me.

Just curious, using Vonage do your calls have that cell-phone/echo/down in a barrel type voice quality?
