Has anyone seen a NY Times paper in Durham? I have the N & O but I am in search of the NY Times. Thanks!

You mean today's, I presume? I haven't looked, but a lot of the newspapers have been going back to the presses and printing extra issues, so if you can't find one today you might keep looking around. I imagine you wouldn't find any extra copies of the NY Times, though.

I know that, when I've been in towns whose sports teams have won championships, the newspapers would print extra copies which were available for sale a few days later, and I wouldn't be surprised if that happens around here also.

Two places to call: Harris Teeters and Visart in Carrboro. Good luck!

I will take today's USA Today as well. I checked Food Lion, BPs, and Shell. I will check with Harris Teeter. Thanks.

Thought of another... Weaver Street Market in Carrboro gets the Sunday NY Times; maybe today's?

I just paid $5 to USA today to get it shipped to me. It's silly but I want to remember this day. I will check Weaver Street tomorrow since some of my family cannot find a copy.

I imagine everyone was sold out, so don't feel bad that you forgot the Regulator.

It may be that you can order back copies of various newspapers. It might even be expected. But be prepared to pay a premium as danadana indicated. However, you might not want to wait too long to inquire. I doubt the big newspapers will create and keep surpluses too long.
