Should be fairly easy to duplicate.... simply slash the price by 50% "TODAY ONLY!!!" and advertise that fact liberally in the week leading up to the event.

I'll bet you'd have it sold by 9 a.m.

(of course, you'd be selling it for 50% less than you wanted, but we're just talking about getting it *sold*, right?)

How about the week before mark the price up. Then slash it down to the original asking price. LOL

That's the true retail spirit! If it works for them, why not me. I was thinking about selling to trade up to a single family home but I might just wait a bit longer. My dream of having 5 acres in Chatham County surrounded by trees and not much else is gonna wait.

I was thinking more of a site that consolidates the info like the ones listed earlier in this thread for brick & mortar stores.

I already bought myself a gift.... a GPS from Amazon on a deal. Whooo!

It's actually called "Cyber Monday" and many of the Black Friday sites have info on it.

Default Internet Shopping

After all the planning and working out which store had the biggest savings on the gifts I had already decided to get and therefor the one I would hit, I found all my deals online Thursday night! OMG it was great (esp the sleeping in on Friday...that was awesome!).

I was able to shop for my husband and two children and find exactly what was on my list without leaving the house.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and that if you braved the crowds you had a good time and were able to get all the things on your list!

Thanks for all the input!

Amy

I checked out a few cyber monday shopping sites. Most of them are nothing but affiliate marketing sites, where you click through to the retailer's homepage, and they get like 5 cents or something for referring you there. No listing of deals. Some of their "partners" don't even have any specific cyber monday deals. Completely useless.
