Go out of Raleigh on Hwy 401 towards Louisburg, cross I-540 about 1 1/2miles or so, just past Wake Tech's new campus there is a guy on the left before you get to the Neuse River that sell drums, he usually has steel drums out beside the road. You can see them from the road. Not sure what his name is, he has a small sign out there sometimes, you might want to check him out. You should also check out the Jiffy Lube shops, they usually have barrels they discard ofter they use the oil or grease out of them...wouldn't hurt to ask, I got one at home I got from a Jiffy Lube..

You might want to check with Agri Supply, they might have some new drums for sale or can put you in touch with people that have new or used ones. They use to have a board with people names and things for sale just inside their front door....gator

He's a friend of mine. If he doesn't have what you want, he can get it.

There's also a place like this off of 42 in Sanford, not far outside Broadway. It's just an old building with hundreds of drums stacked up in front and beside the building. He has an old Coca-Cola sign with his name on it by the road, but I don't remember what it is. Never had a need to know.

Just realized somebody bumped this thread from 2008.
