Does anybody know when Carpenter Fire Station Rd. will open?

Looks like they are re-paving but I can't find any info online about it and the man that I stopped to ask said he didn't speak English.

Thanks for the help everybody!

Hopefully they'll be adding the temporary traffic signal while they're doing this work. This may be pre-work for the Capital Bank going in at that intersection. Here's the Town of Cary minutes about the traffic signal:

I know they were going to close the rail crossing there and direct traffic towards Morrisville Carpenter Rd. Not sure if you are talking about that or the side where the gas station is.

Nope, this is at the intersection of Green Level to Durham (near the Cary Park Town Center). They closed Carpenter Fire Station this morning (heading into Amberly)

Actually, they closed it yesterday morning.
I'm heading up to the bus stop right now, so maybe some of the other parents will have more info than I do. I'll let you know if I find out anything.

Here is the reply that I rec'vd from the Town of Cary:

Good Morning,

Thank you for your e-mail. We were unaware of this situation until we received a few emails.

We were able to find out that the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is resurfacing Carpenter Fire Station Road just west of Green Level to Durham Road. As a part of their traffic control and detour routing, NCDOT put up the additional stop sign and closed a portion of Carpenter Fire Station Road. It will be closed through the end of the day tomorrow, and afterwards, NCDOT will remove the additional stop signs and the intersection will be back to the normal pattern where Green Level to Durham Road has to stop and Carpenter Fire Station Road does not.

Thanks again for taking the time to contact us.
