What are you paying per gallon for propane?? (Clayton: renting, house)

We need to fill the tank here for the house we are renting. I called the same co. that my LL used and they are telling me over $3 a gallon. Back in April, my LL paid 2.28 a gallon. Please tell me you aren't paying this much and I just need to do some negotiation.

Seriously, we cook with gas, our hot water AND furnace are gas.

Thanks. Guess I should pay more attention. Well, my suspicion that they are trying to screw me is confirmed. I will be buying 150-100 gallons. They can come off of it...
