Recession, what recession? I mean, sure the Dow has had more losses than gains, but c'mon, I saw people at the malls in the Triangle during Black Friday and the day after so, where is this recession? I mean, if people are shopping at the area malls, then all is right with the world and the Triangle is the shining light on the hill, shelter in stormy weather , the land of milk and honey, God's country, heaven on earth, the bestest place ever.

Lies, lies, lies!!!!! I SAW people in the malls with bulging packages of Holiday Cheer!!!! Come on, we all know no one lives above their means and NONE of those purchases will sit in credit card limbo awaiting the magic bullet of yet another stimulis check to pull it from the abyss of over whelming debt, foreclosure and personal bankruptcy!!!!

It's apparent some consumers have taken a left turn onto Reality Check Circle; others took a right onto Rose-Colored Eyewear Lane and the rest are racing down the middle of Frankly, I Don't Give a D*** Blvd!!!

To each their own!!!
