Anyone else catch the story on the news? Apparently a robber went into a convenience store and robbed it. Some folks outside chased the man down and someone whacked him upside the head with a frozen turkey. I don't have a link as it was on television, but I got a real kick out of the story. I about fell off my chair laughing.
So, this scum half knocked out tried to jump in a car and drive off, but due to being half unconscious be crashed. When police got there, he had a semi-serious head wound. lmao!

We did our grocery shopping at that Harris Teeter the same morning. Luckily we were out of there by 10:30am. . . . .only an hour or so before this happened.
You know the robber will file a lawsuit against the store. He'd file against the people outside, but they don't have deep enough pockets. His lawyer will claim that if the store had sold fresh instead of frozen turkeys his head wounds would not be as severe. They'll settle out of court.
I didn't see that, but I'm sitting here laughing my butt off. You're probably right about the law suit, though. But, don't victims have rights too...well, maybe that is a stretch.
