Just a random dart to throw in case maybe someone has or knows someone......I have checked out Realtor.com and other realtor sites extensively FYI, but sometimes there are independent/smaller realtors or people just renting out privately. Looking for something in a fairly modern and "nice" (people take care of their yards, no plastic toys in the yard etc) and quiet neighborhood. Schools, shopping conveniences not important. Hardwood floors are out, unless maybe it's just one room. Needn't be a big place as it's just me. Prefer to have at least somewhat of a yard (eg lean away from the ACC Blvd type setups).

Thx!

We have a very nice house for rent. One room is hardwood, the rest is carpet. Fenced yard. Quiet neighborhood. North Raleigh. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, neutral tones, fireplace, two-car garage. $995/month. (Excellent rate.) Please send me a direct message if interested.

bump

Still looking Starting to think something a little more out of the way might be better for me, eg west of Cary or farther north of Raleigh.

The Five Points area has several for rent signs out. Nice bungalow style homes. I don't know what kind of price range you're looking for ~ Five Points tends to be on the high side because its trendy.

Thanks - where's 5 pts and what's a "bungalow" home - I don't need big but I do want a little elbow room (ie not super tiny yards). I can go up to maybe low teens per month, although hoping to keep it a bit less.

Try Craigslist--the rents I'm seeing are astonishingly low.
