the Sheetz in Zebulon - Hwy 96 and Hwy 264.
At 10:00am it was $1.39/gallon (regular unleaded) and at 11:30 pm it was $1.37/gallon.
The nearby Citgo was $1.49.

So why are we paying $1.69 a gallon in Wake Forest?
What's up with that?

Default My Momma told me, "you better shop around"

My friend whose dad retired from Exxon told me that some gas stations get discounts for buying large amounts of “product” and they sometimes pass that savings on to the consumer. Maybe that’s what’s happening in this situation.

Anyhow, the gas station in front of Wal-mart (in Wake Forest) is still cheaper than the BP at the corner of Legion Mill and 1A.

I couldn't have said it better! Anything under $2.00 a gallon in 2008/2009 is great. Happy Monday!

We paid $1.37 in Zebulon on Saturday, close to downtown. On the way back, they had dropped it to $1.35! Hubby said it was the lowest price he has seen in 5 years!

I wouldn't bet on it.. what is the State Gas Tax in Arizona?
Last time I checked, it was 30.5 cents a gallon in NC.. next time you are getting gas, check out the regional state taxes on the pump... I believe NC state gas tax is by far the highest in the southeast..
